A real day in the life of a self-funded CEO @visionthreadsforlife (by having 3 other jobs lol) Some days I feel like I have no idea what I’m doin haha Like “I should just quit and get a normal job.. right?” But then I remember.. I didn’t go to college. I built this sh*t from scratch. I taught myself branding, coding, email flows, pitching, filming, accounting, editing, designing and 7 different softwares… I know I’m not perfect and my company is still a start up but somehow we’re still here… Still building. Still learning. Truth is no one gives you a guide when you’re doing something different or building something new. You just show up and figure it out. So if you’ve been waiting for a sign to start something of your own I hope this is it. Because if I can do it you sure as hell can. Here’s what works for me: 1. FOLLOW YOUR ROUTINE. Make one that excites you and gets you outta bed because you know how much better your day will be. And I PROMISE YOU… if you go the first hour to two without screens and only use natural light, it will change your life. 2. MOVE. I know you know this. I know you know how much you need routine especially in the morning. 3. SOCIALIZE. Find time to tap into your community. FaceTime your people and get connected. The number one health benefit to longevity is community! 4. WORK. On your self, on your craft and on being a better freaking person. Admit when you’re wrong. Have those gnarly conversations and watch what comes out of it. It’s like constantly practicing ripping the bandaid off lol Its never really as hard as your mind says it’ll be. 5. MEDITATE. I’ll never stop telling you to do this lol At the end of the day, it all starts with that beautiful mind baby.
