How to not stress: Few things I need to preface here in case it wasn’t clear in the video… We all know stress is bad.. too much stress = high cortisol levels. High cortisol side effects include: - Weight gain - Thinning of skin, a.k.a. wrinkles and aging - Osteoporosis - Digestive issues - Insomnia - High blood pressure - Anxiety Just to list a few.. “will I be stressed out about this in six months” works really great for our day-to-day lives… again, moving, a break up, your job, that big meeting or spilling coffee on your favorite shirt… things we are very fortunate to complain about. This is one of those “user discretion advised” type of tools. There are some things in life that in six months you will be stressed out about and that will still have an effect on your life.. There’s a lot going on in the world right now that in six months we will still be dealing with the repercussions. There’s a lot going on that will take time to rebuild or will have results and consequences that we will have to manage. If you’re dealing with something right now that is high stress, and you are dealing with the repercussions of the intense situations going on in the world right now… Hopefully you can give yourself a bit of love, close your eyes, take a deep breath and call someone someone you care about to relieve a little bit of pain.
